Dr. Madhu Chitkara on the New Normal in Education Sector at Data Quest webinar

Chitkara University’s Pro Chancellor, Dr. Madhu Chitkara was a Speaker for the webinar organised by Data Quest India in partnership with Dell Technolo-gies and FORTINET on Friday, December 11th, 2020.

The topic of the webinar was “Transforming Higher Education Through Tech-nology”.

Dr. Madhu Chitkara emphasised on the fact that technology has to play the most critical part to achieve the ‘Quality Education’ goal which is one of the 17th Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) as mandated by the United Nations.

She mentioned that the students even have an option to move at their own pace and can take extra time to understand the subject and that knowledge sharing is now just a click away.

Substantiating her expert opinion with examples, she reiterated that technology has transformed the teaching methodology with much more engagement and virtual programs.

Supporting her statement of enhanced dependency on technology during the current crisis by citing real time learning examples that happened in previous months, she said that Technology enabled labs and IT supported analytics has tremendously accelerated the learning.
