Chitkara University makes it Big at the International Hackathon – ReHack

Immersive and Interactive Technology Lab (IITL) at Chitkara University Research and Innovation Network (CURIN) shines in the 30 hours’ International Hackathon ReHack, an Inq Innovation and THub Initiative that is an Australian and India Innovation Bridge powered by IncubateIND. The team members, Mr Shivam Sharma (Developer) and Dr Neha Tuli (Assistant Professor) won the 3rd prize after competing with around 360 shortlisted teams from all over the world.

It is indeed a great achievement as they presented their product Dhwani-VR, a Virtual Reality Based Low Cost Screening Device for early detection of hearing loss in kids. The brilliant team has been awarded with a cash prize worth AUD $2000 along with the Cloud and Software Credits worth AUD $3000.

We heartily congratulate the team as it has been fast tracked to Level 3 of 100 Open Startups Global Program.
