Chitkara University recognised as ‘Best Centre of Excellence’ by Virtusa

Chitkara University has been recognised as the ‘Best Centre of Excellence’ by Virtusa, for maximum participation of students. Ms Cavita Taragi, Pro VC, Office of External Affairs, received the prestigious award on behalf of Chitkara University, on November 28, 2019.

The Centre of Excellence aims to hone, engage and incubate talent to bridge the academia-industry gap. This ‘Centre of Excellence’ at Chitkara University, provides students with an opportunity to be trained on additional technologies to get them industry-ready, while still being at the campus, with the benefit of industry certifications paving their way to success. Students are taught by technical experts from Virtusa, who pitch in with their knowledge of latest trends, research discoveries and new technologies in the field, and eventually get Chitkara University students actively involved in research projects.
