Dr Ashok Chitkara, Dr Madhu Chitkara invited to House of Lords by Anglia Ruskin University
The aim for the conclave held by Anglia Ruskin University at their Cambridge campus was a presentation on internationalization of higher education.
About 10 universities from South Asia were a part of the conclave and were invited by Vice-Chancellor of Anglia Ruskin University, Prof Michael Thorne.
One of the evenings turned out to be a visit to the House of Lords as a dinner was organized by Baroness Blackstone for all the delegates who were a part of the conclave.
Anglia Ruskin University has established the South Asia Anglia Partnership, an initiative to bring together Vice Chancellors from various universities and it is a matter of pride that Chitkara University is a member of this prestige’s conglomerate
The South Asia Anglia Partnership met for the second time in Cambridge this week, following an inaugural meeting in New Delhi in April, and several specific projects that shared knowledge, expertise and resources were discussed where Chitkara University delivered a presentation.
Among various universities that were present at the conclave, Chitkara University, emerged as a prominent participant and aims to deliver its bit to quality education.
