Chitkara awarded ‘Certificate of Excellence’ by Virtusa

We are extremely proud to share that Chitkara University has been awarded with ‘Certificate of Excellence’ by Virtusa, for being the premier institute for Centre of Excellence in JAVA & Cyber Security. Ms Cavita Taragi, Pro VC, Office of External Affairs, received the prestigious award on behalf of Chitkara University.

The Centre of Excellence in JAVA & Cyber Security is part of the CURIN (Chitkara University Research and Innovation Network) initiative. Through Chitkara University Research and Innovation Network (CURIN), our researchers, staff and students work across disciplines to extend the boundaries of knowledge through cutting-edge research, exploring new technologies to improve the country’s infrastructure and safety – and contributing to society through many other discoveries and innovations.

The Centre of Excellence in JAVA & Cyber Security aims to hone, engage and incubate talent to bridge the academia-industry gap. This ‘Centre of Excellence’ at Chitkara University, provides students with an opportunity to be trained on additional technologies to get them industry-ready, while still being at the campus, with the benefit of industry certifications paving their way to success. Students are taught by technical experts from Virtusa, who pitch in with their knowledge of latest trends, research discoveries and new technologies in the field, and eventually get Chitkara University students actively involved in research projects.
