Chitkara School of Languages organises Toastmaster event ‘Flip’ for the 2nd year students of CSHS

Developing excellent communication skills is absolutely essential for effective leadership. If a leader can not get a message across clearly and motivate others, then having a message does not even matter. All leaders need to convey and communicate their message in an effective manner.

At Chitkara University, we keep organizing events for various departments pertaining to their needs in order to provide them with a platform to sharpen their sword of soft skills under the umbrella of Toastmasters. The Events are aimed at honing their skills like public speaking, spontaneity and healthy debating skills along with confidence.
Yesterday, a similar event was organized with the students of CSHS 2nd year. The Students participated in an activity called “Flip’’. In this activity, students are given a topic and they have to speak both, in favor and against the topic. The aim of the event was to help the students come out of their comfort zones, indulge in public speaking, develop a thought process and thinking on feet skills.

Abhishek emerged as the Best Speaker while Garima stood at the second spot. Akshita and Karamveer together stood at the third spot.
