The Department of Physiotherapy in collaboration with Synapse Physio organised the 3rd national conference ‘Synapse 2017’

Third National conference Synapse 2017, theme “Emerging Trends in Physiotherapy”, was organised by Department of Physiotherapy, Chitkara School of Health Sciences, Chitkara University in collaboration with Synapse Physio Pvt Ltd on 26th and 27th October 2017 at Chitkara University Punjab Campus.

Dr. Preeti Pradhan, Dean, Chitkara School of Health Sciences and Dr G.K Balaji, Principal, Department of Physiotherapy, Chitkara School of Health Sciences inaugurated the event. Delegates from various physiotherapy colleges participated in Synapse 2017. The two-day event included scientific sessions by renowned physiotherapists, scientific paper & poster presentation and various competitive & cultural events. The event started on 25th October 2017 with a pre-conference workshop on Craniosacral Therapy by Dr. Prem Venkatesan and post-conference workshops on Hemodynamic Monitoring & PT Management in ICU by Dr. M. Thangaraj, Motor Relearning Programme by Dr. Karthik Babu and Sensory Integration Therapy for Physiotherapists by Dr. Loganathan Gurusamy was held on 28th & 29th October 2017.

Delegates who attended this conference form various universities and colleges recorded there feedback as the conference was a big platform to enhance knowledge and improve skills in physiotherapy.
