Table tennis, Badminton teams win laurels at Solan

We have done it yet again with our Table Tennis Team Boys winning a Gold medal, along with our Table Tennis Team Girls striking a Gold too. Not only had our Table tennis teams, even our badminton teams hit it big at the event. Badminton Team Boys won the Gold medal and Badminton Team Girls won the Silver medal.

The Chitkara team was declared the second overall winner in Prakaram 2016 – Sports Fest of JP University of Information & Technology, Solan, Himachal Pradesh.

The players gave their best shot at all matches and left everyone presents at the fest awestruck with their impeccable performances. Their coach Harinder Lehri was proud of the team as his dedication and hard work was acknowledged by his students who played with grit and determination at Parakram sports fest.

The winners were welcomed back at the University with warm hearts and applauds and everyone present appreciated them for the efforts put in. It is a constant endeavor at Chitkara University to instil various qualities among its students and sportsmanship is a significant one. It is very obvious from the various sports achievements and feats our students have accomplished.
