Celebrity Chef, Rakhee Vaswani graced the World Tourism Day at Chitkara School of Hospitality

Celebrating the “World Tourism Day”, Chitkara School of Hospitality organised “Star Awards Competition” and “Celebrity Chef Rakhee Vaswani’ graced the event with her benign presence. Students from Bsc HA and Bsc H& HA actively participated in different events and showcased their talent and skill in “Star Awards Competition”. These students were judged and evaluated by the judges from different fields of the hospitality industry. Chef Sanjay Sharma judged the competition “Chef of the Year & Baker of the Year”. He was happy to see the innovation of students. Mr. Antriksh Tegta who is Assistant Manager-Outlet at Hyatt Regency Chandigarh was the judge for “Server of the Year”. Participants prepared some delicious and refreshing mocktails. Ms. Akshita Bhardwaj , faculty from Chitkara College of Fine Arts evaluated the talent of budding housekeepers. She praised the artistic approach of participants while making college and Rangoli on the theme of World Tourism Day event. Similarly for selecting the “Concierge of the year”, the judge was Mr. Rajesh Chandran from Chitkara School of Sales and Retail Marketing. The winners of the competitions received trophy and certificates from Chef Rakhee Vaswani. She also shared her valuable experience and thoughts with students.
