BBA, B.Com and NSS students donated blood in collaboration with GMCH, Chandigarh

The gift of blood is “Gift of life”. Blood cannot be manufactured, it can only come from generous donors. No doubt the first and foremost advantage of donating blood is the proud feeling of saving someone’s life. The blood we donate can save someone’s loved ones life.

In Chitkara University, students are always encouraged to devote themselves toward the principle of community service and being generous. Keeping this in mind, B.B.A – B.Com Department of Chitkara Business School, Chitkara University, Rajpura organized a blood donation camp. Students participated enthusiastically. More than 150 students registered with the camp and almost 120 students donated blood.

Vice Chancellor of Chitkara University, Dr. Madhu Chitkara also visited the camp. The camp was organized in collaboration with GMCH, sec 32 Chandigarh (Dept. of transfusion and medicine) under the guidance of Dr. Tanvi and NSS department of Chitkara University under the guidance of Neelam Verma (Prog. Co-ordinator NSS) and BBA-B.com department under the guidance of Sandeep Singh (Prog. Manager BBA and B.com dept of CBS).

The event was a huge success and we look forward to organize such camps in future.
