Honorable Dr. Ashok K Chitkara, Chancellor, and revered Dr. Madhu Chitkara, Vice-Chancellor, Chitkara University, were at the ‘European Association of International Education (EAIE)’, at Glasgow, Scotland. The 27th Annual EAIE Conference is a prime event and acts as a global platform for several educators from the world to gather and put forward their view on higher education.
Europe’s largest international higher education conference with 5050 participants from 90 countries took place in Glasgow, Scotland. Participants experienced an innovative, cutting-edge conference programme and more than a ‘wee dash’ of the famous Glaswegian culture and hospitality.
The conference proved to be an amalgamated wealth of nations.
World economies are strengthening. Positivity is spreading. Education is evolving. As we cautiously head into a more fruitful economic era, it is only by acknowledging our individual strengths and combining them with the strengths of others that we can truly exploit the wealth of knowledge residing in Europe’s diverse nations. The term ‘Wealth of nations’ means promoting intellectual interchange, using reason to reform society to ultimately pave the way for the modernisation of the Atlantic World.
