Budding Media Personnel Debated at a Toastmasters Event

On the onset of the new session, Chitkara University Toastmasters International Club hosted its first event for this semester exclusively for B.A. in Journalism and Mass Communication 2nd and 3rd year students..

Keeping in mind the need for the future media persons, Debate was organised and witnessed an overwhelming participation of 16 debaters debating upon an array of burning topics such as ‘Do we need Censor Board?’, ‘Is the national capital increasingly unsafe place to live?’, ‘Will society help transgenders to join mainstream?’ and so on.The certificates of best speakers were awarded to Pranavi & Jasmeet as there was a tie between them.

Our University’s Toastmaster club organises such events time to time with the aim to help students hone their rhetoric skills.
