National conference on ‘Envisioning the Essence of Nursing’ at Chitkara University

Chitkara College of Nursing organized a one-day National conference on ‘Envisioning the Essence of Nursing’ on November 20, 2014.

Dr. Anil Bhansali, Prof and Head, Deptt. of Endocrinology, was chief guest at the Inauguration ceremony. He delivered an expert talk on ‘Diabetes: Past, present and future’.

The inauguration ceremony was followed by scientific paper presentation sessions. The sessions were chaired by experts in nursing field, Dr. Sukhpal Kaur, PGIMER Chd., Dr. Sushma Saini, PGIMER Chd. Dr. Raman Kalia, Director Principal, Saraswati Nursing Institution.

Nursing academicians, research scholars, clinical staff and masters and bachelors students attended the conference and good quality research papers were presented in the conference. The conference was rather a much-awaited event as Chitkara College of Nursing had planned for this event for long.
