Chitkara University Global Engineering Week 2014

The fourth edition of Global Engineering Week at Chitkara University will be organized from 10 – 14 November, 2014 at Chitkara University, Punjab. The event serves as a catalyst for infusing cross-cultural competence, knowledge transfer as well as networking among faculty.

The topics to be explored during this edition of Global Engineering Week include Object Oriented Paradigm, RFID Technology, Power Electronics, Research Methods, Remote Sensing Applications in Engineering, Digital Transformation, IT Governance and Management, Engineering & Manufacturing of Sports Equipment, Software Engineering and Multimedia Systems.

There will be more than 500 students from different streams of engineering taking part in the Global Engineering Week 2014. One of the highlights of GEW is that Chitkara University students experience stimulating interactive sessions with visiting professors from its partner universities around the world.

Students gain competence towards becoming global learners as they witness unprecedented pedagogical styles during the five days of their participation in the event. All the courses taught by the international faculty are considered not only useful but also in demand by the prospective placement companies.
