The Communication Design Program at Chitkara Design School offers you the opportunity to develop a well-rounded skillset applicable to a broad range of visual arts disciplines. It will help you stimulate your creative practise with a solid understanding of Communication Design strategies along with the history and theory of Communication Design.
Working across graphic design, moving images, illustration and photography, you’ll learn to create impactful visual content with the power to inspire action and shift mindsets. Each area within the program encourages a critical engagement with contemporary practice relating to social, cultural and political contexts.
The hands-on learning you receive at our studios will enable you to utilize the equipment, facilities and computer software currently used in the industry. Courses are delivered in a multidisciplinary studio environment with the opportunity to work in a range of contexts including live projects, studio-based practice and collaborative learning environment.
